Achievements:

I own and run a Montessori and Day Care Centre in Ballinalee for the past eight year, employing a staff of 10 and catering for sixty children from the local areas.  The centre has won various awards, an Enterprise Award, an Award in Recognition of Standards & Quality from Portobello School. More recently the “All Ireland Centre of Excellence Award”, a quality of care award run by the NCNA & NIPPA, being the first centre in the county of Longford to receive this award. 

I am a board member of NCNA – National Children's Nurseries Association and a representative of the NVCC – National Voluntary Childcare Collaborative on Longford County Childcare Committee. I am also a representative in the McKeon Park Development Group and actively involved in Ballinalee Community Development Group. 

I am active in raising funds for Make-A-Wish and Barnardos.

Interests: The Irish Language, Farming & Nature

Experience: Our family are actively involved in politics at local level for the past 20 years. I will bring new dynamics to local representation, I am hardworking, honest, in touch and open to the many challenges that lie ahead.
